When the school was under construction, my older
brother, Teddy, noticed that the workers had
spelled the name incorrectly, so he climbed up a
long ladder and showed them how to fix it. When
he was still a schoolboy, Mr. Thomas gave him a
caning for something or other, and he never
forgot it.I don''t think caning is allowed now.
